• The ring martingale is a reining system made up of 2 straps: one is attached on one side to the girth and on the other side it separates into 2 parts equipped with rings which will slide in the reins. The second strap is a collar that will go around the neck, to hold the reins in place. You should avoid an adjustment that is too short as it risks hindering the movements of the horse's neck.
• The ring martingale is not intended to lower the horse's head, but to prevent it from headbutting.
