✨ YOUHOUUUUU IT’S CONFIRMED ✨
We will be present for the first time in our short existence at the Salon du Cheval de Lyon for this 2021 edition!
But you are starting to know us and know very well that “ Ohlala Sellerie ” rhymes rather well with “ it wasn’t really planned ”!
To begin with, we have just blown out our third candle 🕯 and have been dreaming (because yes, we dream big) since the first day of our online saddlery of going from virtual to physical via this legendary meeting which sounds like an inevitable annual meeting bringing together riders from the four corners of France 🇫🇷
So we took the lead by trying to find a small stand ready to accommodate your favorite online saddlery . Unfortunately, this show is so unmissable that all the places were reserved! 🙈
A few months later , here we are, 6 days before the opening of the show and our thoughts are entirely focused on the construction and moving of a brand new warehouse as well as the organization of the surprises that we have in mind for end of year celebrations . What was our surprise when the good news came? An unexpected phone call informs us that a stand will finally be unoccupied! Neither one, nor two, we don't need more to start the preparations. Will the move and the show take place in the same week? Perfect , it’s a challenge that we will love to take on! 💪
D-6 before the opening of the show , objective of the day: adapt our old stand (made to measure for the Paris horse show ) to this new challenge. We will have to gain 8m2 because this new location is slightly smaller , and (oddly) we are not allowed to use the common paths! So off we go, the kit stand loaded into the horse truck, heading to the new warehouse (in the middle of the work in progress) to reassemble the structure and modify it before the big departure. 🚚
An additional difficulty? We do not have "stage plans" as we know them thanks to a fairly well-known Swedish furniture dealer and it is by centralizing all our memories while taking a look at our old stories that the reconstruction is carried out. The stand is on its feet , the modifications are made, the dimensions are readjusted, all that remains is to dismantle it again (with solid plans this time), the stand? IT'S DONE ! 👌
D-5 before the opening of the show , we have a stand (that's already it), we have shelves (cool)... But we don't have any products (uh, that's a real subject). ) ! Once again the team sets out and makes a “heartbreaking ” selection. We will not be able to store all the favorites that we share with you on the networks on a daily basis, but we will offer as many as possible, lots of mats , care products that seem essential to us, Hit Air air bag vests for safety, socks , treats , brushes , that's it, the selection is made, you can find it right here :) 💖
D-4 before the opening of the show , it is time to beautify our stand to welcome you to our world filled with love , ribbons and flowers that make us famous. No worries, we collect all the pieces that adorn our looks on Instagram and plan additional ✨ SURPRISES ✨ for a stand worthy of a Pinterest post (but I won't spoil the surprise for you and won't say more until the photos are not broadcast, stay tuned to our Instagram stories). 🎁
Okay, I'll spoil it for you a little : the cauldron to participate in our Giveway will be in place and there will be a space specially dedicated to your best selfies ... To share without moderation with the hashtag #JeSuisPassséChezOhlala! 📸
D-3 before the opening of the show ... Well, the flower pots 🌷 as decoration are very pretty, BUT we will have to think about whether there are also humans on this stand in order to receive you. .. So, will you go, will you not go? Unfortunately, we cannot all come down to meet you for several reasons:
1. The “warehouse” team must absolutely stay in Cholet to continue to lovingly prepare your pretty packages 📦
2. The “Customer Support” team will not move either: the girls must be there to answer your little questions all day long on the chat and your phone calls 📞
3. The “social media” team must be everywhere: a person here to share with you our news, our good deals, hot looks, news about our horses, etc. and a person in Lyon to share the backstage with you 📲
4. Pairs of arms will be useful here, don't forget the move that is happening in parallel with the living room! 🙏
So the decision is made : Clara, Elsa and Thifaine (the first to believe in the feasibility of the project) will be the first to head south, where they will find reinforcements who kindly come to our aid!
So here they are, setting off for a few hours on the road and arriving safely! 🛣
No time to waste, as soon as we arrive, we get busy setting up the stand. The plans are practical , the wooden planks fit together quickly and this is their new “ home ” for the week to come.
D-2 before the opening of the show , even today ! The girls have been bustling all day , the stand is coming to life, the products are starting to be displayed, the decor is taking shape... And Clara shares her little misadventure of the day with you at the beginning of the afternoon! Live like lightning ⚡️, she takes a slightly too tight turn with her personal car: the pallet truck . And here she is embarking on a movement that is astonishing to say the least, the pallet flies away and all the pretty GEM Equitation and Kentucky Horsewear rugs that she was carrying are spread out on the ground 🤕 My little devilish side 😈 forces me to tell you that Clara doesn't have his driving license, coincidence, hm?! Good question 🤣
We are here,the project IS crazy , for the moment everything is going exactly as NOT planned but that's what makes us vibrate , in two days the show opens its doors, we are meeting you again for so long and that worth all the fatigue in the world 🌍
