But no, we are not gaga about it. We just find it particularly beautiful! Some of you may be starting to know him well, but certainly not all the little aspects of the personality of our 5 year old stallion: Eclair.
But who is this little bombshell with the blue eye?
Bearing the Rouhet affix, Eclair was born just a few kilometers from Bertrand. Put to work at the stables at 4 years old, we fell under the spell of this pretty chestnut with large balzanes from the first photos.
4 facts to know about Eclair...
1) JUST LIKE DOLCE, HE LOVES NAPS
Be careful not to go to the stables around 1 p.m./2 p.m. He spends most of his time sleeping. We can no longer count the countless number of videos of him snoring in the box!
2) A REAL COVER KILLER
We must admit that we like to provide maximum comfort to our horses, especially in the stable, and therefore liked to offer them beautiful blankets. It was before the passage of Eclair...
A true serial killer of covers of all brands, this one could have been sold for any brand wishing to carry out a crash test of covers. Not one would have resisted Lightning's bites!
After mourning the loss of 5 or 6 blankets, we opted for another solution: The Crib Stop.
3) THE DEVIL MANNEQUIN
If Dolce is a sweetheart to photograph, Eclair is its opposite. A little restless, wanting to bite everyone's hands, this one is much less easy to photograph than its little friends. A bit silly for such a pretty model!
You will perhaps understand better why there are so many photos of him taken in the box... ahahah!
4) HE ONLY HAS ONE BLUE EYE AND NOT TWO
Although he is most often presented on the left side, Eclair has a real Poker Face, since he only has one blue eye and not two. This then gives him two very different profiles. As always with wild eyes, some love it and others are sometimes surprised.
5) SOON DAD
Having been collected in Saint Lo last winter, it will see its first foals born next year. We ourselves will have the chance to have one of his foals towards the beginning of 2020 with one of our favorite mares, Maria <3
