Whether we go to a competition , an internship , whether we do a big session at home or even just for fun , our little horses deserve to be massaged 😇 The management of the horse will be different depending on its needs but also the intensity of the effort made. Here, Camille Condé Ferreira gives us her little tips to support the well-being of her horses over 3 days of competition ❤️

Camille's tips for optimal recovery ✨

If we have a competition which takes place over 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we will come and use different products to help them and limit the risk of aches . On Fridays and Saturdays, Camille recommends oils which are always modified according to the horse's needs. For example, Top Recup and Fresh Oil are perfect oils for activating blood circulation and supporting muscles .

She tells us she prefers Fresh Oil for summer , because it brings a little touch of freshness thanks to its smell as well as the essential oils it contains. For its part, Top Recup is essential for recovery after exercise and the prevention of muscle aches. You can apply them to all sensitive areas of your horse , insisting on a circular massage, in the direction of the hair and the blood - lymphatic systems. You must feel the small tensions and warm the muscle to help your horse recover slowly 🥰

The areas most mobilized during work are especially the limbs , shoulders , neckline - cervicals , as well as the entire back , from the withers to the rump. It is essential to take care of our companion in order to help him in his recovery, therefore in the process of bodybuilding and optimization of his performance 🔥

For Sunday, we're going to focus more on clay because it's really a way to end the weekend on a good note and take care of our little horses' tendons. Camille instead uses Tendi Flash or Sport Clay on the bony parts of the limbs. She applies it mainly to the front of the forelimb as well as the knee joint at the front and back. She combines one of these two clays with the Gun Tare on the tendon areas where the gaiter is generally worn.

For her, the combo of the two clays works perfectly. She puts clay on the limbs every Sunday after competitions to help the tendons rest and limit the risk of injuries or minor discomfort the following days 💕

But of course, we don't forget to help the internal side! Camille tells us to give them the Help Recup food supplement which is her ally in reducing cramps, aches and overall fatigue . It is a natural and non-doping supplement that she can therefore use throughout the competition ✨

You now know the entire care routine of our professional rider! Don’t hesitate to give us your little post-contest routine or intense effort on social media 😍
