YOUR CURRENT QUESTIONS #FAQ

During our Frequently Asked Questions on Instagram, certain questions come up systematically, so we will answer them through this blog post so that you can easily find the explanations to your inquiries 👌🏻

@tipi_pcf : My pony has mud fever and I don't know what product to buy for him?

We have a lot of questions regarding the nightmare of riders in winter: Mud Fever! In fact, we dedicated a complete blog article on this topic. Our advice? Clean and dry the scabs without tearing them off, then apply, for example, the GDB from Nacricare, as regularly as possible until recovery ❤️

@manon_fcaa: A rug that would look good on a black horse?

So here, we have a bit of the embarrassment of choice! So many rugs are stunning on blacks, but the first one that comes to mind here is a little new one from Cavalleria Toscana, poppy red! 👹

@sjongoe: Treats to please?

Some delicacies 🍭  are good, without preservatives, it's better! We love the apple treats from Alliance Equine, with a super clean composition: Barley flakes, Corn flakes, Flax seeds, Oatmeal, and Dried Spirulina 🌈

@mamacara28: A top pair of stirrups for the CSO?

Among the stirrups we recommend most often, we find the Flex On as well as the Free Jump, but let's not underestimate the stirrups Compositi! An excellent quality/price ratio while optimizing safety thanks to an open branch that allows the foot to automatically free itself in case of a fall 🎂

@_.maarilou._ : A halter for a chestnut mare?

The beige on chestnuts? We approve! That's why we would choose this Colca sand long line and halter set from Flags & Cup 👇

@sjongoe: A rug for a bay brown horse?

THE current trend is printed rugs! For a bay brown, we love the Prince of Wales from Oxxer ✨

@mm.asterix: A Kentucky rug for a palomino?

WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT the old rose velvet! A timeless classic that adds a very Barbie 👩‍🎤 touch that we love on that dress!

@capucine.lmz: Your most expensive rug?

The most expensive available right now in the tack shop is the saddle pad Skin Friendly white from Kentucky at 149.99€ and here's why: it's the true ally for horses with sensitive skin. It reduces friction, absorbs shocks, and frees the spine 💖

@marylou_2310: Any idea for rain pants?

A over-pants might be the solution that suits you! Not the most stylish, we admit, but extremely practical for maximum protection, adaptable with all your outfits 💦

@tamara_camille: An easy-to-wear pair of pants that doesn't constrict?

The legging is the right solution! Easy to put on, second-skin effect, close to the body, a wide waistband, and breathable material: we love it! 👖

@carline.fpc: A top for winter that can be worn at the stable, but also in the city?

Stylish in the city as well as at the stable? 🌳 You can adopt the Palmyre Hoodie from Harcour, available in different colors. On jeans for everyday life, or on riding pants to practice our passion, it's approved 😎

@virafa_ma_lusitanienne: A 0g cover that is very waterproof?

 The Stretch Neck from TdeT shirt will be perfect to stay dry without additional heat, for a non-clipped horse living outdoors for example ☔️

@nthl.paprika: What advice (to avoid and treat) wear at the chest area due to blankets?

Here too we face the major issues of horses in winter ❄️: blankets tend to rub and injure them 🥺 To avoid this discomfort, one can opt for a shoulder protection. A second skin to attach around your horse's withers and chest that will protect it 💓

If the friction marks are already there, you will be able to treat them with the balm Natural'Balm from Natural'Innov, among others, which will promote healing ⚡️

@math.20064: I'm always cold in my feet, any advice?

A true favorite for 2 years now, the boots 👢 in leather Wild Native from Kazak are an investment we do not regret AT ALL! They accompany us everywhere, in the mud of the paddocks, in the soaking sand of the arena, etc. They are waterproof and lined with fur: everything we love in this season 🦶

@steph_etcie: Do you have a cream to recommend for sarcoids among your skincare products?

The sarcoid is the most common tumor in horses. To treat it, we obviously recommend that you undergo a complete veterinary examination to determine the cause as well as the optimal treatment. However, we can recommend Cica soin, a healing balm from Alodis Care to soothe your companion and achieve improvement. 😎

@emmarnaqueuse: A product to nourish a mane?

To be used on both the mane and our hair 🙇🏼‍♀️, the oil from Jump Your Hair has managed to seduce us after a real testing phase. It provides softness and shine while making detangling easier 🤠

@laure.debrabant: Will there be new Kentucky rugs?

We can count on the brand Kentucky to surprise us very frequently with new collections that are as original as they are stylish and timeless! The latest one? The Velvet pearls fir green which, since their arrival on the shelves of our saddlery, have captivated more than one rider!

@marie_louurma: Boots that are not too expensive?

For a first purchase of leather boots, we recommend this model from Norton. A zipper on the side for more comfort when putting them on, a wide elastic band that adapts to different sizes/types of calves, and a soft material for more comfort, what more could you ask for? 🌈

@louise.petit17: The ideal cover for a clipped horse to spend time outside?

Being in the same situation for one of our protégés, we opted for the Aisance Combo model by Equithème: waterproof and breathable, with a faux sheepskin withers pad, a very wide tail flap, and ease gussets for optimal protection against wind while allowing true freedom of movement 🔥
